Strange blog title for March you say? Well it would be for a normal person, but when have I ever been one of those? I can explain myself though, logically even! For Christmas I asked Bryan for a framed photo of my dearie beloved, and sadly departed, chipmunk Captain Jack Sparrow. He had a fair choice considering I have 504 photos of the wee chap. Anyway I did indeed get what I asked for but I also got two empty frames with a promise of pictures of our new pets to go in them so I had a full set. Funnily enough Bryan is ignoring the hamsters I had when we started going out, he was never keen on them and used to go mad at their nocternal lifestyle!
He wanted to get a flash or something for his new camera and was convinced he’d get more frame worthy photos with it, so I was to wait for the set to be completed. Today he printed me out photos AND put them up on the wall, hurrah!
If you would like to see the photos they are on Bryan’s Flickr pages: http://www.flickr.com/photos/21420423@N07/.
Now our dining room is really looking “proper”, with the lovely table and chairs we bought in the January sales and piccies on the wall.
Hurrah! And just to add to the feeling of Christmas treats Bryan even drove me to Tesco and bought us some Magnums - supercalifragilous expaidocious (sorry Mary Poppins is on tv - just to finish off my Christmas feeling! That’s really quite spooky, it’s the one movie I remember watching one Christmas Day whilst I waited for the guests at Woodford Bridge Hotel to be served so I could get my lunch with the staff, which included my folks).
Was funny today as there was a Milk advert in the car park and Bryan asked me who it was as we were heading into the store. I knew she was an actress in something I had been watching but couldn’t think who she was. It was still driving me mad by the time we came out so I was saying I would Google it when we got in, then as we drove out the carpark I realised it was the Scottish woman in Ugly Betty. Bryan thought I was wrong so I got googling as soon as I got in the house. It took some searching but eventually I proved myself right and got to do the “I was right” dance! What jolly fun! Hope you are having a jolly day too!
